After-a-shitty-week Hols

Tomorrow I'm going to Prague. And I get to leave from Orly Airport, again. Unlike last time, however, I'd prefer not to arrive sweating and panicked, 10 minutes before my flight leaves. Also, I'll be flying Sky Europe, and I don't know how that airline works. So I guess I'll be up at ass-crack. Sigh.

Yesterday and today are special days, because... drumroll... I was stuffing Harry Potter invites! Technically, the invites are the RSVP cards, but the actual invites also go inside the envelopes I made. I'm completely psyched to get my invitation-- according to Madame's assistant, they are "pretty." Ookay.

After a LONG week of class (not to mention three essays and an oral presentation), I'm looking forward to kicking back tonight. I'm getting dinner at a diner called Breakfast in America, which supposedly serves pancakes and bacon all day. Then, I'll probably end up packing for Prague way past my bedtime. The usual.

Until Monday!

[ETA]: The store, Thanksgiving, in the Marais, was buzzing with Americans tonight. I bought Kraft Mac and Cheese for an exhorbitant amount, then we we had dinner. Breakfast in America was awesome: The bacon alone was reason to go back. We all felt sick afterwards, and then it felt like home. I also saw Miss J from America's Next Top Model, and we shouted hello until he smiled. So tonight was sort an American pilgrimage through Paris.
