Sandy Aftermath

We weathered Sandy pretty well here—Twitter was a good resource for news across the NYC area, so I learned about the Manhattan blackout and various subway flooding while we stayed tucked up snug in Williamsburg. Power stayed on but our cable and internet cut out around 9 PM.

The only really scary thing was the incredible wind. It rattled the building and sounded like thunder at times. Thank the higher powers that nothing horrible happened.
