I don't really mind, per se, but it's jarring to see things! Change! Without! Warning!
Related: I tried to edit my account settings on Facebook and revoke all permissions for everything, but it looks like the Facebook for Blackberry app means I have to send my personal information to all and sundry. Foiled again!
