Girl Crush, Boy Crush

Last night was the premiere of The Other Boleyn Girl, a film starring Natalie Portman as Anne Boleyn, Scarlett Johansson as Mary Boleyn, Eric Bana as King Henry VIII, and Jim Sturess (of Across the Universe fame!!) as George Boleyn. And. I was there.

Obviously, being me, I didn't get to see the movie, persay. I did, however, get smushed into a barrier while waiting for the actors to arrive. I got a few close up pictures because ScarJo and Eric Bana came over to sign stuff. Jim Sturgess took a picture with my friend while I snapped away happily. Love.
Scarlett was absolutely drop-dead gorgeous: she is super nice and seems really normal, too. She made sure to get around to everyone who wanted an autograph. Every time she got pulled away to do an interview, she would come back over to sign stuff and say hi to people.
Eric Bana was surprisingly good-looking. I've never been a fan, but he came over immediately after getting out of his car, started signing stuff, and then made a point to talk to everyone around him. I sort of melted when I heard his accent.
Natalie Portman got out of her car, stumbled, and then RAN to do interviews on the carpet. I was a bit disappointed she hadn't even awknowledged that thousands of people were standing around and yelling her name, but I don't really blame her. It was EXTREMELY cold and she was wearing a dress.

Jim Sturgess is one of those people you find attractive but don't really think about until you see him in person. I loooved Across the Universe when I saw it in Paris, and was sort of pining after Jude until I moved to London and then forgot about it. But having him walk toward you and smile as people yell his name and try to get autographs will make even the hardest person fall in love. He was so gracious, taking pictures with my friend and coming back over again after he had left, because someone else wanted an autograph.

I was freezing after everyone had showed up, so I peaced out while people were still on the carpet. It was majorly not warm outside. I was really disappointed I couldn't go and see the movie, after all that-- I've been hearing about it for months, and I really liked the book. March it is, I guess.
